APPEALS: to the Care Standards Tribunal

An appeal against a Notice of Decision to impose conditions, or to cancel registration or part of it (e.g. the nursing registration in a nursing/residential home), should be thought of as a ‘project’, in which the aim is to achieve compliance such that EITHER the CQC withdraws its ‘resistance’ to the appeal OR, if not, the Care Standards Tribunal can be confident that the measures in place are or will be compliant, and that risks to service users have been addressed

The Consultancy is able to offer advice and support throughout an appeal, and – with recent success in an appeal against cancellation (consent order, registration preserved) – also provides representation in the proceedings.

The service is provided at a fraction of the cost of solicitors and QCs.
