RESPONSE TO DRAFT INSPECTIONS REPORTS

Misnamed a “factual accuracy check” or fac response, this is the opportunity – the only opportunity – to respond to the findings and judgements of your inspection report

 

CHALLENGE TO DRAFT RATINGS

Challenge to the proposed ratings will be an integral part of your fac response, and needs to address the application of CQC policy on the ratings as well as any compliance judgements

  

CHALLENGE TO PUBLISHED RATINGS

CQC permits challenge to the published ratings, although this is only on a ‘process basis’ and is not a second fac process.  The challenge will need to demonstrate that CQC did not follow its own policy, a much higher hurdle to clear
